Breastfeeding is natural, but that doesn't mean it always comes naturally. This evidence-based prenatal class is designed to help you start your feeding journey with confidence and realistic expectations.

In this signature class, we'll cover how milk production works, what normal newborn feeding looks like, how to recognize early hunger cues, establish a deep latch, build and protect milk supply, and what actually matters in the first days and weeks after birth. We'll also discuss common early challenges, when to seek help, and how your support person can play an important role in your feeding success.

Whether you're planning to exclusively breastfeed, pump, combination feed, or are still figuring out your goals, this class will help you feel more prepared for the realities of feeding a newborn.

Classes are offered throughout the Phoenix metro area in North Phoenix, Gilbert, and Peoria, as well as virtually for families in all 50 states. Please be sure to register for the location or virtual option you wish to attend, as class dates and instructors vary by location.

Please note: This class is designed for expecting parents. A support person is encouraged to attend. Please bring a doll or stuffed animal for hands-on practice if attending in person. To allow families on our waitlist the opportunity to attend, we kindly request at least 48 hours' notice if you are unable to make your class. Children are not permitted at this class so all participants can focus on learning and discussion.
