Newborn Play 101: Positions, Play & Early Development

Join us for a gentle, hands on class led by a pediatric physical therapist all about playing, connecting and engaging with your newborn (ages 0–3 months).

In this class, you’ll learn simple, effective ways to interact with your baby beyond the basics of feeding, sleeping, and diaper changes. We’ll explore a variety of positions like tummy time, sidelying, and supported upright and how to use each one to support your baby’s early development. You’ll learn how to safely handle and move your baby, encourage visual engagement and curiosity, and introduce age appropriate toys that promote early movement and connection.

Through demonstration and hands on practice, you’ll leave feeling confident in how to play with your newborn, with simple ideas you can carry into your daily routine!
