The Early Years Shape Everything: Raising Emotionally Secure Kids Intro Class

This class explores the foundational role of early childhood attachment and why secure relationships in the earliest years can shape a child’s emotional health, behavior, resilience, learning, and relationships for decades to come. Often considered one of the strongest predictors of long-term well-being, attachment impacts everything from emotional regulation and confidence to social skills and mental health throughout childhood, adolescence, and adulthood.

Together, we’ll discuss what attachment actually is, how it develops, what children truly need from caregivers, and how everyday interactions help build a secure emotional foundation. This class is designed to help parents better understand their child’s behavior, strengthen connection, and feel more confident navigating the early years with intention, responsiveness, and compassion.

This class is taught by Dr. Lorenzo Azzi, one of Arizona’s foremost experts in Infant & Early Childhood Mental Health. Dr. Azzi has supervised dozens of early childhood therapists, trained hundreds of clinicians in the field, and provided direct therapeutic services to hundreds of families with infants and young children.

Who is the class for: Expecting parents, parents who are thinking of having a baby in the near future, parents of babies ages 0-5 years old.
